Kayseri rug made of premium wool and silk blend, finely hand-knotted.
Originating from Türkiye in the region of the city of Kayseri.

It measures 143 cm wide by 207 cm long.
A large niche decor. Velvet, impeccable edges, very soft colors.
The Kayseri velvet is always short and the inspiration for these carpets comes from old Persian carpets, especially Tabriz. Surprisingly, in Tabriz silk carpets are knotted with the influence of Kayseri carpets.
These exchanges of designs are due to the commercial and cultural contacts and exchanges that these two cities have had between them for many years.
These exceptional carpets with delicate patterns are inspired by nature and decorated with interlacing plants, in pastel dyes often highlighted by blue or red.
Kayseri are found in all dimensions knotted in wool or silk or wool & silk.
This carpet has been cleaned in a professional and ecological way.
