A dazzling Kuba kilim originating from Azerbaijan in the Caucasus. Rarely has the intensity of the colors reached this level. It's a veritable sunburst with star motifs in the central field! Woven wool on wool in the traditional manner, the weave possesses all the characteristics of antique Caucasian kilims: fineness, precision, and a certain refinement. The piece is therefore light and supple. The natural, vegetal hues are dense and saturated. The indigo blues are marvelous. The harmony is perfect, the balance in the composition striking.
