Kashan prayer rug in high-quality kork wool, renowned for its finesse and silky feel. Originating in Iran, it dates back to the Shah period in the XXᵉ century.
It features an elegant midnight-blue field, delicately animated by a seedling of petals and birds arranged around a central vase with a diamond cabochon motif. The whole is framed by five borders, including a main ivory one adorned with finely drawn floral reserves.
Cotton warp, weft and fringe.
