Pewter pitcher with shoulder, foot, and quarter-round cup, and a thumb rest with two buds.
Hallmark of Pierre André UTIN, received as a master in 1736: rampant lion / ANDRE VTIN.
Hallmark of the "Arquebus Practice".
Height: 20.8 cm.
VEVEY (Valais, Switzerland), mid-18th century.

Good condition; however, a reinforcement of the upper handle attachment is noted and highlighted in one of the photographs.
The lid and its tab are covered with small impacts most likely caused by a game of skill which consisted of tipping it over from a distance by throwing projectiles or firing shot.
