An antique Japanese Kutani porcelain Meiji period figural group of two chin puppies playing, circa 1890. Overglaze painted in black, brown, white and red enamels on a white ground.

Height: 9.8cm (3.9in)

Condition: In excellent original condition, with a small firing crack in the underside of the black-decorated puppy (see images) and a few spots here and there from the firing process.
