An 18th-century Meissen porcelain cup & saucer, c.1750, decorated with Deutsche Blumen and scattered flowers on a white ground and with gilded rims.
Maker’s marks: Underglaze blue crossed swords to both. Impressed number “4” to base of cup, pressnummer 54 to base of saucer
Measurements:
Cup: Height: 4.7 cm (1.9 in). Rim diameter: 8.1 cm (3.1 in)
Saucer: Diameter: 13.3 cm (5.2 in)
Condition: Very good.
Cup: Tiny glaze bubbles internally, no restoration.
Saucer: “fleabite” indentations on the foot rim. Tiny glaze bubbles in the saucer. No restoration.
