Mennecy, circa 1750.
Very elegant Calabrian-shaped teapot. Small in size, it is decorated with bouquets and blue and old rose filets. The lid handle is finely crafted to resemble a flower.
Provenance: Société Industrielle de Mulhouse, a learned society founded in 1826 by Protestant industrialists, has been recognized as a public utility by royal decree since 1832.
