A very elegant pair of frosted glass candlesticks decorated with sheathed atlantes, each holding a hammer in her right hand and supported by a cloud-shaped base. Mid-20th century. Beautiful interplay of transparency, unusual mythological theme. The set is in good condition, with a few tiny chips from use, present only on the base of the candlesticks and therefore not visible.
