Restauration Period Mahogany Armchair, Fully Reupholstered, Circa 1820
Mahogany and mahogany veneer armchair from the Restoration period, circa 1820. Our seat rests on two saber-shaped rear legs and two Jacobean front legs. The armrest supports are carved with palmette wreaths. This elegant armchair has recently been reupholstered and covered in a white fabric with small pale pink geometric patterns, so it is in very good condition and has an impeccable seat. We note some wear to the varnish on the back of the seat, at the base.
