Circular pewter vegetable tureen with flared sides and a straight, sloping rim, with two fixed twisted handles. It is decorated with two rows of pearls and complete with its lid with a screw-on urn-shaped handle.
Hallmark of Antoine Joseph Bergman, active from 1801: angel-justicier / 1801 / ETAIN FINE / AJBERGMAN À STRASBOURG. Engraved ownership mark: palmate initials ANF.
Diameter: 21.8 cm. Width: 29.5 cm.
STRASBOURG, Early 19th century.

Model inspired by goldsmithing, in perfect condition.
