Daubière from Maison Gaillard Jules. Circa 1945. Tinned and hammered daubière with brass handles fitted with three copper rivets, fitted lid with brass side handles fitted with three copper rivets. Exceptional XXL size piece. Correct interior tinning but should be reviewed if used. Stamped behind the bronze handle, GAILLARD PARIS in the Grande Arche style. 5 kg lid. 15 kilo tank. Shape of the daubière called "Napoleon" following these double inverted handles reminiscent of the famous "Bicorne" Length of 68cm with the handles, 30cm width and 28cm height.
