Large and charming expressionist painting from the 1940s-1950s, which represents the portrait of a young girl posing with a sulky expression and crossed arms, wearing a picturesque red cap... The work is not signed but bears on the back of the canvas the stamps of the sale of the Atelier Georgette Devroye (1911-1999) which took place in Marseille in 2015 at the auction house "Prado-Flaque-Enchères": she is an artist whose information can be found on the web and who lived in the region of La Ciotat. She shared her life with the painter & ceramist Robert Permiaux (1906-1973). Canvas size: 80 cm x 65 cm - ask me for other photos if necessary -
