Double travel reliquary with relics of holy virgin martyrs – 19th century

Oval reliquary in gilded brass, forming a portable medallion, decorated internally with two symmetrical compositions. Each compartment presents a painted miniature (Saint Joseph and the Child Jesus on the left, the Virgin and Child on the right), surrounded by golden paperolles, silk ribbons and multiple relics identified by handwritten tituli.

The relics belong to several holy virgin martyrs: Saint Barbara (S. Barbara VM), Saint Catherine (S. Catharina VM), Saint Lucy (S. Lucia VM), Saint Agnes (S. Agnes VM), Saint Rose (S. Rosa VM), etc.
