Each branch bears naive engravings: diamonds, circles, and the date 1824, recalling the tool's belonging to a journeyman or craftsman from the beginning of the 19th century.Beautiful object of rural and journeyman heritage, both a functional tool and testimony to geometric symbolism in ancient craftsmanship.
