Description
The base presents a polychrome statuette of the Virgin and Child under glass, surrounded by reliquary medallions with handwritten inscriptions identifying in particular:
• Saint James
• Saint Paul
• Saint Mark the Evangelist
• Saint Simon
• Saint Peter the Apostle
• Saint Barnabas
Around are other relics accompanied by small painted images of saints, forming a set of great spiritual and decorative richness.
Cross surmounted by gilt bronze fleurons and decorated with the INRI titulus and the skull of Golgotha at the base.
