Beautiful pewter EWER called "Stegkanne" in baluster form with a short pedestal, long tubular overflow with sides and valve connected to the neck by a molded arm, top lid and palmette thumb.
Unidentified maker's mark: passing bear / YY
Height: 32.2 cm.
BERNE, End of the 18th century.

Flemish-inspired typology of the 16th and 17th centuries that can be seen, for example, in the still lifes of the painter Rambrandt.
Perfect condition, with a beautiful, slightly darkened patina.
