Three Bosses Sofa, Carved Mahogany Bench, Napoleon III, Circa 1850
Very beautiful carved mahogany bench decorated with roses and ribbons, made around 1850. The backrest is animated and topped with three sculptures (including two openwork) with vegetal decoration, the central sculpture representing a bouquet of roses wrapped in ribbons. Very beautiful animated sculptures on the armrests and front legs. The front crossbar has a reminder of the rose motif in its center. The upholstery is in very good condition, the seat is very comfortable. Elegant upholstery fabric in pastel tones decorated with old roses giving a very romantic look to the whole.
