Large Altar Candelabrum With Vine Vines, Seven Lights, Candleholder, Candelabra, Gilded Bronze
An impressive gilded bronze altar candlestick, very finely crafted and chiseled, dating from the late 19th century.
The entire candlestick features a superb decoration of vine tendrils and grape clusters. This decoration is truly exquisite.
The base is adorned with Renaissance-style motifs.
In good condition for its age, this candelabrum is, however, very slightly tilted backward at the top and shows some signs of wear (minor oxidation that may need to be cleaned; see photo 12). Please note an old solder joint (see photo 6).
