Jeanne BARADUC (Riom 1879 – Paris 1957) “Composition aux fruits” Oil on cardboard signed lower left H: 54 cm x  L: 65 cm Jeanne Baraduc, born Clausels on February 26, 1879 in Riom (Puy-de-Dôme) and died on January 19, 1957 in Paris, is a French painter. Jeanne Baraduc exhibited landscapes, portraits, flowers, still lifes, etc. from 1927 to 1929 at the Salon des artistes français, the Salon d'automne, as well as the Salon des Indépendants Bordelais in 1928 with Georges de Sonneville. She also participated in group exhibitions organized by the Society of Modern Women Artists, created in 1931 by Marie-Anne Camax-Zoegger. Daughter of Marie-Jean-Clodomir Clausels, lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Riom and deputy mayor, she married Doctor Franck Baraduc of Châtel-Guyon. She was the sister-in-law of Henri Pourrat, of whom she painted a portrait in 1927. One of her works is kept at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
