Large and beautiful Anatolian carpet, approaching Oushak carpets by the decor. This village-produced rug measuring 130 cm wide by 228 cm long in wool, presents bright colors specific to these regional rugs, knotted in the countryside and is inspired by ancient models of the Ottoman Empire.
Three justaposed medallions, one red, placed on a blue gray medallion, itself placed on a deep red medallion.
The set is strewn with stylized flowers and geometric patterns in orange, white, red, almond green and curry for the most beautiful effect.
The border features a line of apple blossoms, a symbol of fertility, encased in a meandering line symbolizing continuity and water.
An ethnic carpet of the most beautiful effect, knotted in the 50s and presenting a beautiful patina matched with normal wear for a carpet of this period, used. This carpet has been professionally cleaned and environmentally friendly.
