Important Silent Servant Figurine Made Of Limoges Porcelain – Léon Sazerat – Late 19th Century
Artist: Léon Sazerat (période D'activité 1863-1890).
An elegant three-compartment “silent servant” made of Limoges porcelain, bearing the signature of the famous Léon Sazerat manufactory (active 1863–1890).
This significant piece, with its deeply undulating profile, is in the purest Louis XV/Rococo style of the late 19th century.
The decoration consists of graceful bouquets of wildflowers and roses painted in a naturalistic style, standing out against a background of great purity.
The wide scalloped borders are enhanced by a delicate gradient of blown sky-blue.
The entire piece features rich ornamentation in fine gold, particularly on the coiled central handle, which is covered in brushed gold.
Diameter 31 cm, height 9.5 cm, with the manufacturer’s green stamp on the underside of the base.
The piece is in excellent overall condition. The porcelain is in perfect condition: no cracks, no chips, and no repairs.
The glaze has a beautiful luster. There is slight, normal wear on the gilding in places (particularly on the relief of the handle), attesting to its authenticity and age.
Carefully and securely packaged. Fast shipping with insurance and tracking.
