Eric LAURENT (1959/2018) began his apprenticeship in glassmaking at age 15 at the Allex glassworks. After seven years of traditional glassmaking, he became a glass artist and founded his own studio in 1991.
His blown-glass creations are distinguished by the richness of their designs, veritable lacework of colored strands evoking the plumage of birds of paradise or draped colors; the forms range from the delicate elegance of collectible vials to, conversely, the imposing mass of vases.
