Flared vase with faceted ribs, blue crystal prototype – Signed DAUM Nancy France with the Cross of Lorraine,
starting in 1924, the signature became “Daum Nancy France.” From its inception, theLorraine Cross was always included in the signature until 1945; since then, the signature has been simply “Daum France” in a very simple and refined style.
This vase was also made for the Marquise de Sévigné; this particular piece does not bear that inscription
