Paul Charles de Plument de Bailhac (1864–1951). A student of William Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he built a solid reputation for his landscapes, seascapes, and genre scenes
He was notably the founder and president of the Salon de l’École française of the Société des artistes français. His work even represented France in the art competitions at the 1924 Summer Olympics
