Jean-claude Novaro (1943–2014) 20th-century Blown Glass Bottle
This one-of-a-kind piece, dated 1993, perfectly illustrates the artist’s virtuosity. It employs the complex technique of Sommerso, encasing a core of intense shades of fuchsia and amethyst purple within a thick layer of mouth-blown transparent glass. The base features an elegant frosted/satin-finished glass finish, creating a striking contrast with the translucency of the body. Its original sculpted stopper blends harmoniously with the piece as a whole.
