Jean De Lespinasse(1896–1979), who began producing ceramics in the late 1940s; his path crossed that ofRoger Capron MADOURA, Georges Tardieu.
His works were sold in luxury boutiques, initially on the Côte d’Azur, and later throughout France and internationally. The pieces are generally large, dynamic, and highly structured. Particularly noteworthy is his masterful work with enamel—blending matte and glossy finishes—which demonstrates great mastery of the art of ceramics.
This vase is extraordinary both for its size and its colors.
