Antique Two-door Cabinet, Lacquered Green With Three Panels, Tuscany, 17th Century
An antique two-door wardrobe cabinet ("stipo"), each door divided into three shaped panels, with great charm. The piece retains its original green-toned lacquer finish — clear evidence of an authentic, untouched patina. The top cornice is moulded and the base is shaped. The wrought-iron lock is exposed on the right-hand door. The interior has five shelves set on fixed uprights. The back is built from two tiers of vertical boards.
