Pair Of Carved Walnut Chests Of Drawers, 17th-century Umbrian Antiques.
Pair of 17th-century chests of drawers in walnut wood, of Umbrian provenance, each with three drawers. The front is enriched by pilasters carved with a shaped cartouche motif and a leaf-carved pendant drop; ring-pull handles and a plinth base complete the design. The pieces are complete and retain their original backboard, drawer bottoms and locks, and have undergone some minor restoration work.
