Large Tuscan Bookcase In Faux-wood Lacquered Fir, Early 19th Century
Large bookcase in fir wood, retaining its original faux-wood lacquer finish. Fluted uprights separate the six glazed doors of the upper section, topped by a moulded cornice. The lower section follows the same structure as the upper part and features six panelled solid doors with metal knobs, separated by fluted uprights embellished with a scroll motif. The bookcase is dismountable.
Provenance: Tuscany, first half of the 19th century.
