An elegant cream satin vest embroidered with pansies and wildflowers, dating from the Louis XVI period. Square-cut waistcoat with a stand-up collar, complete with its ten matching embroidered buttons. Two applied flaps with genuine pockets accented with brown embroidery. The original back, made of ecru fleece-textured cotton terry cloth, has been widened with a triangular panel in the center. The vest’s lining is also cream satin. No flaws to note; the embroidery is in excellent condition. Wearable or suitable for a collection. In excellent condition.
