Circa 1790-1810, England. Large headdress mounted in squirrel-brown silk taffeta, padded with wadding, dating from the Regency period in England. The frame has internal hoops and drawstrings, allowing for three wide rolls highlighted with large pink silk ribbons. It is lined in pink silk taffeta with matching ribbons (some soiling inside and damage to the ribbons). Beautiful silk ruching frames the face, and there is a concentric structure at the back. No major flaws. Good overall condition in terms of color and preservation. Dimensions: height 40 cm, width 35 cm, back diameter 32 cm, head circumference 70 cm.
