Elegant and important figurative sculpture in full high-density resin (Polystone), featuring a superb monochrome ivory/synthetic alabaster patina. The work depicts a classic pastoral scene: a young peasant woman seated on hay bales, straw hat in hand, surrounded by three meticulously realistic geese. The details of the drape of the dress, the hair and the feathers testify to the finesse of the molding. This model is a characteristic creation of the Italian sculptor Mario Pegoraro (1950-1980 period of activity), whose works were published by famous Italian manufactures such as Capodimonte and Ester Bassano.

Unsigned example (late edition variant or mold wear), but perfectly indexed.
The piece is presented on its original black-stained wooden base, giving it excellent stability.
