Jean Hugon (1919–1990) – Lithograph – Sailing Ships – Artist’s Proof 1/35
A beautiful original color lithograph by Jean Hugon (1919–1990), depicting a highly stylized seascape filled with sailboats.
Here, the artist creates a particularly luminous composition, dominated by shades of blue, green, turquoise, orange, and yellow, rendered in a highly graphic and decorative style.
Artist’s proof 1/35, signed in pencil by the artist on Arches paper.
This copy is enhanced by a handwritten dedication by Jean Hugon to Raymond Gangloff, artist and ceramicist:
“ To Mr. Raymond Gangloff, in memory of the warm welcome for my exhibition”
A particularly interesting piece due to its decorative quality, its limited edition, and above all, this named provenance and original dedication.
