Louis XVI-style Floor Lamp – Two Lights – Circa 1950

An elegant floor lamp from the second half of the 20th century, circa 1940–1960, crafted from black metal and gilded brass.

Its long black shaft rests on a brass tripod base, while the upper section features two lamp arms shaped like small candelabras, adorned with delicate scrollwork. The piece is characterized by a neoclassical style inspired by the Louis XVI style, with a simple and elegant silhouette.

The floor lamp retains its black lampshade with a light-colored interior. The shade has a slight warp, caused by accidental exposure to moisture, but can of course be replaced according to the buyer’s preferences.

The brass parts would benefit from a thorough cleaning to restore their luster; however, their current patina remains appealing.

Functional lighting: both lights turn on properly, and the foot switch works.
