Kabuto Samourai Helmet Early Edo Period Signed
MI-EDO-period lacquered iron Kabuto with 62 KÔSHÔZAN-shaped slats.
Signed: SAOTOME-IENAGA
A helmet from the SAOTOME school, active from the early 17th to the mid-18th century, which disappeared due to its involvement in the "bad clan".
SHIKORO (neck cover) in lacquered iron with 6 blue laced slats.
This combat helmet weighs 2k850 and is original without restoration but has unfortunately lost one of its FUKIGAESHI (fins).
Specialist restoration is possible.
The MENPO in the photo, which has lost its YODAREKAKE, is sold with it and seems to match the helmet perfectly.
Do not hesitate to ask questions or request additional photos.
