Zunari-type kabuto; iron hachi decorated with geometric motifs.
Iron tehen decorated with a stylized chrysanthemum on top using iron inlays.
Shikoro with nine lacquered wooden slats, woven with white silk.
Fukigaeshi made of black lacquered wood.
Mabizashi / maebashi made of iron with two stylized eyebrows.
Maedate made of gilded wood in the shape of a crescent moon, called tsuki.
The kabuto is an object steeped in tradition within Japanese culture. An integral part of military armor, it was worn by high-ranking samurai.
