A lovely little "Tazza"-style bowl, made of turned and blackened wood (very fine grain, possibly walnut or boxwood?) with a beautiful neoclassical profile. The quality and finesse of the turning suggest that it is a small, masterful piece, typical of the early 19th century. The bowl is presented on a fixed, square (8 x 8 cm) Carrara white marble base.
