Large decorative Medici vase, with lid, in the Neoclassical/Empire style, featuring a cobalt-blue ceramic body (Sèvres blue style) and rich hand-applied antique-patina bronze trim.
Upper section: Lid topped with a pull tab, gadroons, and a sculpted frieze depicting dancing figures/nymphs in the classical style surrounded by plant motifs. Two decorated side handles.
Pedestal / Base: Square blue porcelain pedestal adorned with gilded bronze appliqués depicting a lyre surrounded by palm leaves on one side and a laurel wreath with ribbons on the other.
Base: Square base with moldings and friezes featuring acanthus leaves and floral motifs.
