Large 5-light Wrought Iron Chandelier, Folk Art, 17th/18th Century.
Large five-light wrought iron candelabra. Beautiful example of folk art, a model widely used in France throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. The base has four "legs" of wrought iron and tall candle holders of curled iron. The last photo, taken from Bernard Mahot's book "Les chandeliers et bougieoirs" (Chandeliers and Candlesticks), shows a model from the same period and of the same type, but with a variation in the arrangement of the candle holders. A lovely overall design with a very timeless presence. In very good condition. Note: Shipping available within France via Colissimo tracked service: 30 euros. Other destinations upon request.
