Pewter plate with a wide rim, known as "Cardinal's Plate".
Hallmarked by Peter Van Meerbeeck the Younger, who became a master in 1695 and ceased his activity in 1707.

Diameter: 25.1 cm.
BRUSSELS, CIRCA 1700.

In good condition, some pitting is noted, as well as a small repair on the reverse at the junction of the wing and the blunt end. Bibliography: "Tinmerken van belgië en naburige steden" by Tony Dangis.
