Two shuttle-shaped crystal salt cellars, late 18th century, Directoire style, with solid, two-tiered feet, a lozenge-shaped cut incised with a star below, and an oval, concave bowl cut with diamond points—small on one, large, checkered diamonds on the other.
Flushed rim, polished hollow edges.
Glassware from this period, a difficult shape to cut, is rarely found in such good condition.
Very fine condition, 2 slight pinehead chips on corners, nothing visible to naked eye.
