Pair of slightly amber crystal drageoirs from the Creusot factory. The quality of the coal from the Montcenis mines being exceptional, King Louis XVI authorized the transfer of the crystal factory of Queen Marie Antoinette, then located in Sèvres, to Burgundy, in Montcenis, near the town of Le Creusot. It will last until 1833, when the Baccarat and St Louis crystal factories made a takeover bid and recovered the molds. It is a very heavy, very transparent and slightly amber crystal. No accidents.
