Object description :

"Franch Large Wax Seal From Count De Chatelard, Circa 1720"
beautiful bronze seal, large diameter, mounted on a good mushroom-shaped handle, made of turned wood.
Seal part shows a thick threaded sleeve. The 3.2cm round seal is deeply engraved of a coat of arms, under a count's crown, between two archangels, on centre a pair of wings under a starry sky,….
Inscription: Conte of Chatelard.
Beautiful condition of discovery for seal and handle, I did not try to clean it, good quality, not too much wear.
