Turned Boxwood Snuff Treen, Late 19th C, Amazing Model

Beautiful object, soap shaped, well in the hands, from turned and hollowed boxwood; a snuffbox with two uses: pinch, shake. The turner gave it the shape of a big "onion" watch, an ergonomic shape that adapts to all vest pockets, lid opens by one molding mustache shaped , weir is blocked with help of a turned bone zipper, once attached by a fine cord.
