The bowl, with its flared, flowing shape, is made of clear crystal delicately engraved with plant motifs. It is highlighted by a spectacular ormolu mount with naturalistic decoration of vine shoots, leaves and bunches of grapes, executed with great finesse of chasing. The high, openwork handle, adorned with elegant twisted decoration, lends the ensemble lightness and distinction.
