A Blue Wedgwood Dish, 20th Century Period

Very fine collector's dish in jasperware from the English manufacturer Wedgwood, founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood.

Made for the 1992 Christmas edition, this heavenly blue cookie porcelain dish features, in white relief, the scene of the Three Wise Men on their camels under the inscription We Three Kings. The decoration is framed by holly and bell motifs, with the words "Christmas 1992".

This piece perfectly illustrates Wedgwood's iconic craftsmanship and the finesse of its famous jasperware.
