"Antique Porcelain Cup & Saucer By Kpm Berlin Known As Topographical Cup"
Antique porcelain cup and saucer from the KPM Berlin manufactory. The set dates to the period between 1763 and 1837, identified by the underglaze blue scepter mark on the underside of the saucer. This type of porcelain, known as an Ansichtentasse, features a hand-painted scene of a coastal or riverside town with a tower, a boat, and figures. The cup's interior and the entire saucer are decorated with extensive gilding. This style of porcelain was common during the early 19th-century Biedermeier period.
