BLADE: It is single-edged, slightly curved and has a wide hollow part on each side. The tip ends in a "carp tongue". It is a Solingen manufacture. At the base of the blade there are remains of engravings typical of Solingen manufacturers, and on the first quarter of the blade, remains of very worn engravings, difficult to identify.
Blade length = 53.3 cm, Width at the heel 2.7 cm, thickness at the heel = 6.7 mm
GUARD = it is made of brass, with inverted quillons.
HILT: Grip it is striated ivory, which has the classic cracks and small chips related to the age of the object. A brass ferrule with a small line decoration joins the guard.
The pommel is made of brass and features a monster's head, perhaps a stylized lion. It is topped with a small almond-shaped knob on which the blade's tang is riveted.
It is therefore a hunting weapon, from the Louis XV period and style, which will elegantly decorate a hunting-themed interior.
