The collector belonged to an association of artillery enthusiasts who liked to "make talk" their model cannons.
The tube is in bronze, it takes the shape of the massive 30-pound marine cannon (1820-1840) which was used to defend the fortresses of the coast.
Of course, the light in the chamber is pierced. Tube length 10.7 cm, caliber = about 8 mm
The cannon is connected to the wood by two iron brackets.
The carriage is made of solid wood.
