Navy Coast Canon From A Collection
It is a model of a cannon, similar to the ones which equipped the batteries along the coasts .
It comes from a collection, mainly of canons related to the Navy which all have one thing in common: they were designed to be able to make fire ! The collector was apparently part of an association of artillery enthusiasts who liked to make "talk" their model cannons.
The tube is in bronze, of course with the light pierced at the level of the chamber. Tube length: 9.6 cm caliber = approximately 5 mm
The wood support is made of solid wood. Very nice object
